Job summary

Houston Grand Hotel - River Oaks is seeking a friendly, attentive server to provide guests with exceptional dining experiences. You will greet patrons, take orders, and deliver meals with accuracy and courtesy.

You will operate the POS system, collaborate with kitchen and bar teams, maintain a clean station, and support coworkers during peak times. Complimentary shift meals and free parking are available.

Qualifications

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Provide accurate menu guidance and upsell when appropriate.
• Demonstrate knowledge of service standards and etiquette.
• Operate POS system efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Check station setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shifts.
• Take guest orders, repeat to confirm, and relay to kitchen.
• Deliver orders, check accuracy, and present the check promptly.
• Ensure responsible beverage service in compliance with policies.
• Assist colleagues to ensure smooth service during peak times.
