The Astor Crowne Plaza New Orleans French Quarter is seeking a Hotel Room Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms and corridors. You will clean bathrooms, make beds, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and visitors.

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to pitch in and be a team player.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Adapt communication style to different audiences (supervisors, coworkers, guests).

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floor surfaces.
• Strip beds and change bed linens (may lift up to 50 lbs).
• Dust furniture, pictures, drawers, ledges and shelves.
• Vacuum room and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, restock heavy cart.
• Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
