Job summary

HHM Hotels in Tampa is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a luxurious experience for guests. You will dust, vacuum, make beds, change linens, replenish towels, and keep amenities fully stocked while upholding high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Work independently or with the team, follow safety guidelines, and report issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel or similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, or push objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards in a hospitality setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, replenishing towels, and ensuring all amenities are fully stocked.
• Maintain the cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and dining areas to ensure an impeccable guest experience.
• Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards are met at all times, including the disposal of trash and recycling in designated areas.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards in guest rooms or public areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Follow the hotel's procedures for cleaning and handling linens, towels, and other supplies.
• Handle all cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, ensuring proper use and storage according to hotel policies and industry standards.
• Provide guests with friendly and professional service, anticipating their needs where possible.
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and requests as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Hotel Management.
• Adhere to all safety and security guidelines in the hotel.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient guest service.
