Job summary

The Langham, Chicago is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate to ensure spotless corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public areas while supporting room attendants and maintaining Langham and Forbes standards.

You will respond to guest inquiries, work varying shifts, and assist in laundry and other duties as needed. The position offers full-time hours, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to grow within a luxury hotel.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of stain removal and chemical cleaning agents.
• Ability to learn how to properly work with hazardous chemicals in accordance with company standards.
• Ability to read and write basic English to complete forms such as a room status report.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Keep corridors, foyers, stairwells and public areas clean and stocked.
• Respond to guest questions and provide directions or escort as needed.
• Assist room attendants and cooperate with housekeeping team to maintain Forbes & Langham standards.
• Support other areas during slow periods (laundry, public area, room attendants).
