Job summary

Goldener Hirsch, Auberge Collection, is seeking a PM Engineer / Maintenance Supervisor to lead the engineering team and oversee preventive maintenance for hotel systems in Deer Valley, UT. You will guide projects from start to finish while maintaining safety and productivity on site.

The role requires 3–4 years of hotel engineering experience, a high school diploma or technical training, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years experience as an Engineer or Maintenance Technician, preferably in a hotel or property management environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school desired.
• Must be able to operate hotel systems and associated equipment; identify replacement parts and tools.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the engineering and maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all hotel systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, laundry, kitchen, water and wastewater systems, carpentry, tile, plumbing, painting, and minor automotive repairs.
• Assume responsibilities of the Director of Engineering and Engineer Manager in their absence.
• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel fire, water, and sewage systems.
• Respond to all guest requests promptly and handle emergencies.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Log and communicate essential information in Engineering logs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
• Participate in budget planning and cost control for the engineering department.
• Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices.
