Job summary

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Night Manager to oversee the hotel's overnight operations, serving as the Manager on Duty. You will supervise the Front Office team, ensure exceptional guest service, manage guest issues, and maintain safety and security across the overnight shift.

Ideal candidates have a Hotel Management Degree and 2+ years in a leadership role within rooms or Front Office, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Hotel Management Degree with leadership experience in a hotel setting.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership position in rooms/front office.
• Proven ability to manage teams, delegate, and adapt to change.
• Strong communication and guest service orientation.
• Knowledge of emergency policies and hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight Front Office operations and act as Manager on Duty.
• Supervise front desk agents, telephone operators, club floor, concierge and bell staff.
• Handle guest issues and ensure service excellence during night shift.
• Coach and mentor Front Office team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, and adherence to revenue and occupancy targets.
• Coordinate with other leaders and communicate shift information clearly.
• Promote Fairmont loyalty program and maximize guest satisfaction.
• Complete necessary reporting, payroll, and attendance records.
• Ensure safety, security, and compliance with hotel policies.
