Job summary

Four Sisters Inns’ Kenwood Inn & Spa in Sonoma Wine Country is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to own day-to-day maintenance, preventative care, safety, and the property’s physical condition.

This hands-on role reports to the General Manager and Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate has broad facilities experience and can troubleshoot a variety of systems while avoiding guest disruption.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional building, facilities, or property maintenance experience required.
• Experience in hotel, resort, hospitality, or guest-facing facilities strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance in guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Inspect areas to identify maintenance needs before they impact guests.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting and general building repairs.
• Maintain pool and spa equipment and other mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs.
