Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, engineering, facilities, hotel, apartment, or building-maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Ability to work professionally in a luxury hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and exterior areas to identify maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments.
• Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, fixtures, doors, and building systems as needed.
• Complete preventative maintenance on guest rooms, equipment, and building infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain heating, cooling, hot water, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
• Coordinate with approved vendors and contractors as directed by management.
