Job summary

The Loren Hotel in Austin is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to support line cooks by following recipe cards, prepping ingredients, and maintaining a clean, efficient station. You will ensure consistent quality, proper portioning, and timely service in a fast-paced luxury hotel kitchen.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cooking practices and kitchen procedures.
• Understanding of food industry regulations and safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor line setup to ensure efficiency during meal periods.
• Prepare food following recipes and production standards.
• Date and rotate perishables and store items per SOP.
• Check pars and plan prep, freezer pulls, and line setup.
• Return unused items to proper storage after shifts.
