Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to lead the housekeeping department and drive standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. The role oversees budgeting, staffing and training, with collaboration across hotel departments to uphold luxury service levels.

The Director will implement strategic improvements, manage supplier relations, and ensure adherence to brand and safety guidelines in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Opera preferred.
• Must be able to read/write and communicate effectively in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term vision and direction for the Housekeeping department.
• Conduct regular hotel inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve communication and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and used properly; monitor supplies and costs.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the department.
• Hire, train, and develop colleagues for maximum effectiveness and service.
