La Fontaine in Century City, Los Angeles, is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead its opening and beyond. You will set service standards, shape culture, and drive commercial performance for a luxury 362-room property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 10+ years of luxury or full-service hotel leadership experience.
• Pre-opening or opening experience strongly preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, revenue and profitability.
• Proven leadership able to build and retain high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with long-term vision.
• Passion for luxury hospitality and creating personalized guest experiences.
• Ability to lead through change and establish a strong culture for a new property.

Responsibilities

• Lead all hotel operations across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Engineering.
• Provide strategic leadership through pre-opening, opening, and stabilization phases.
• Establish a culture centered on exceptional service, genuine hospitality, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
• Recruit, develop, and inspire a talented leadership team and workforce.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans that drive revenue, profitability, market positioning, and long-term success.
• Build strong relationships with ownership, brand partners, community stakeholders, and key industry partners.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, revenue generation, and expense management.
• Champion the hotel’s luxury positioning and ensure every aspect of the guest experience reflects the property’s vision and standards.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and evolving luxury traveler expectations to identify opportunities for growth.
• Serve as a visible ambassador for the hotel and its people within the Los Angeles market and broader luxury hospitality community.
