Job summary

Viceroy Washington DC is seeking an Area Food & Beverage Supervisor to coordinate and manage all property F&B, kitchen, and back-of-house operations, while maintaining profitability and high quality.

The role requires leading F&B staff, controlling budgets, forecasting, reducing turnover, and ensuring compliance with health and liquor laws to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a vibrant Washington DC setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive hotel or related field experience.
• Proficiency in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health regulations, liquor laws and regulations.
• Long hours sometimes required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication, multitasking and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all F&B personnel.
• Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
• Monitor department performance and budgeting, forecasting and follow-up.
• Coordinate and monitor all phases of Loss Prevention in the F&B department.
• Prepare and submit inventory reports; attend required meetings and trainings.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and health/sanitation regulations.
• Interview candidates for F&B positions and participate in training.
