Viceroy Washington DC is seeking an Area Food & Beverage Supervisor to coordinate and manage all property F&B, kitchen, and back-of-house operations while maintaining profitability and high service quality.

The role requires overseeing F&B staff, handling guest concerns, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with health and liquor regulations. A strong focus on staffing, inventory, and training is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree with 3+ years experience; or a 2-year college degree with 4+ years experience.
• Must be proficient in Windows, company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health dept. rules and liquor laws.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Moderate physical effort and ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all F&B personnel.
• Respond to guest complaints promptly.
• Participate in F&B budgeting, forecasting and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare inventories and submit reports to accounting.
• Train staff on SOPs and attend required meetings.
