River Terrace Inn in Napa, CA seeks a Director of Engineering to lead maintenance and engineering operations for a 114-room riverfront property. You will drive energy efficiency, capital planning, and asset management while ensuring guest safety and comfort.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, 10+ years in hotel management (5 in senior leadership), and strong leadership and analytical abilities. Travel within the area may be required; master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years in hotel/resort management with at least 5 years in a senior role.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for hotel maintenance and engineering operations.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Plan and supervise renovations, repairs, and capital projects within budget and schedule.
• Manage the engineering department: hiring, training, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes; implement safety protocols.
