Job summary

Noble House River Terrace Inn, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Director of Engineering to lead maintenance and engineering operations in a Wine Country setting. You will manage assets, optimize energy use, and oversee a skilled team ensuring safety, comfort, and reliability for guests.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and adherence to safety standards. A strong background in hospitality facilities and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• A master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in resort or hotel management with at least 5 years in a senior management role.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for hotel maintenance and engineering operations.
• Maintain physical assets and optimize energy efficiency.
• Manage a team of professionals; ensure safety, comfort, and functionality.
• Develop and implement an engineering/maintenance strategy aligned with hotel goals.
• Oversee capital projects, renovations, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects and engineers as needed.
