Job summary

De Mattei Construction Inc. is seeking a proactive Construction Project Coordinator to support high-end residential projects in the San Jose and Aptos/Santa Cruz areas. This full-time role emphasizes organization, communication, and a collaborative approach to ensure projects stay on track.

You will manage project logistics, calendars, documentation, and vendor coordination while assisting both field and office teams to uphold De Mattei's standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction permitting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update project calendars and binders.
• Coordinate permits, plan sets, status sheets, and binders.
• Support job coordination, including temporary power, toilets, fencing, and dumpsters.
• Manage subcontractor contracts and data entry (Sage).
• Develop and update punch lists and project files.
• Assist with cost-to-complete updates and project scheduling.
