BCB Homes, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator in Florida to develop accurate budgets for luxury projects from preliminary drawings through final construction documents.

The role requires deep experience in estimating new construction and renovations and collaboration with clients, architects, and project teams. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of industry trends, strong Excel skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while coordinating with trade

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience estimating new construction and renovations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; strong Excel skills required.
• Experience with pre-construction budgets and collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple estimates in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with On-Screen Takeoff or similar estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate budgets for luxury construction projects from preliminary drawings through final documents.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify project details.
• Coordinate with trade partners and subcontractors to review and price scopes of work.
• Write detailed scopes of work for subcontractor pricing and review subcontractor agreements.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions, constraints, and material needs.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings to facilitate the bid process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and construction methods to improve estimating accuracy.
