BCB Homes is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator in Florida to develop accurate budgets for luxury projects from early drawings to final documents. The role requires coordinating with clients, architects and subcontractors to ensure precise estimates.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction estimating, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to staying updated on codes and industry trends. On-site site visits and timely bids are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience estimating new construction and renovation projects.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience collaborating with clients, architects, engineers and PMs.
• Knowledge of industry trends, building codes and estimation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate budgets for luxury construction projects from preliminary drawings through documents.
• Support Business Development by delivering timely project budgets.
• Clarify project details with clients and partners; price with subcontractors.
• Prepare sub contractor scopes and agreements; conduct site visits for conditions.
• Organize pre-construction meetings and monitor bid schedules.

W e are currently seeking a n experienced Construction Estimator to join our team . In this role, you will develop accurate budgets for luxury construction projects , beginning with preliminary drawings and continuing through final construction documents. The ideal candidate w ill have a minimum of 8 years’ experience estimating new construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the Pre-Construction and Sales team , provid ing support to Business Development by develop ing accurate and timely project budgets.
• C ollaborate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify project details and address inquiries.
• C ommunicate with trade partners to review and evaluate cost estimates while working closely with subcontractors throughout the process.
• Critically analyze sub contractor and trade partner scope s of work and prepare sub contractor agreements based upon the correct scope of work per the contract documents.
• C onduct thorough site visits to assess existing conditions, project constraints, and material requirements.
• W rite detailed scopes of work to send to subcontractors and trade partners for pricing.
• A rrange, organize , and coordinate pre-construction meetings to facilitate the bid process.
• Actively seek current information regarding i ndustry trends, building codes, and construction methodologies to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency .

• Strong Microsoft Office skills are a must , especially Excel .
• C onstruction industry experience is required .
• New home construction experience is preferred but not required .
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail is critical as this role requires careful analysis of documents and the production of accurate bid documentation.
• Effective time management skills are required to meet project deadlines, manage bid schedules, and support multiple estimating priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with On-Screen Takeoff or similar software .
