Job summary

Sight & Sound Systems, Inc. is seeking a driven Sales Associate for residential audiovisual systems in the Northern Virginia area. You will guide custom homebuyers, builders, and clients through discovery, scope development, and closing technology packages.

This full-time role offers base salary plus commission, paid holidays and PTO, and a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with company match. Location: Sterling, VA headquarters.

Qualifications

• Experience in custom AV or smart home integration sales.

Responsibilities

• Consultative selling: conduct discovery appointments and showroom walkthroughs with custom homebuyers and builder clients to assess needs and present integrated solutions.
• Solution architecture: scope pre-engineered options and custom solutions across smart home automation, motorized shades, architectural lighting, multi-room audio, and security.
• System discipline & workflow: manage all sales requests, client interactions, proposals, and margin calculations inside the system of record.
• Clean operational handoffs: prepare complete, accurate project scopes and documentation for review and handoff to Production and Project Management.
• Accountability: track pipeline milestones, provide weekly forecasting to the Sales Manager, and hit monthly gross margin and sales volume commitments.
