Job summary

Tory Burch, an American luxury lifestyle brand, seeks a Product Development Associate to bring beautifully crafted handbags to market. You will partner with Design, Materials, Merchandising, and Production to ensure timely development, accurate specs, and successful handoffs to production.

This role requires a BA/BS or equivalent, at least 2 years in fashion accessories product development, advanced Excel, and experience with PLM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Prior experience working with PLM systems is required.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear language.
• Solid understanding of the product lifecycle, timelines and contingencies.

Responsibilities

• Daily collaboration with Design to manage spec turnover and troubleshoot sample making from proto to production.
• Review specs (BOMs/tech packs) for accuracy, completeness, quality, affordability and compliance.
• Communicate with overseas partners on questions and changes to specs and design needs.
• Maintain an accurate style tracker via PLM from concept to production.
• Schedule and attend sample reviews with cross-functional stakeholders.
