Highgate Hotels in New York is seeking a diligent Room Attendant to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms while delivering attentive service to guests. You will perform routine cleaning tasks with a focus on hospitality and safety in a fast-paced environment across the property.

This role involves thorough room cleansing, stocking supplies, reporting maintenance, and ensuring guest satisfaction through courteous interactions and efficient service delivery by the team.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related field preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
