Highgate Hotels is opening The Huntington in San Francisco, a Nob Hill luxury estate. The Guest Service Agent will deliver attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

The role requires a warm, professional demeanor and strong guest communication. Join a landmark project by Highgate in partnership with Flynn Properties, and play a key part in delivering ultra-luxury hospitality in a historic setting.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Customer Services experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Light work – ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Strong verbal and written communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk per Highgate standards.
• Operate PBX console and ensure front desk standards are met.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities and hours.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Balance and complete shift paperwork and reports.
• Handle check-ins/checkouts in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Be familiar with rates, packages and promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist with guest safety and experience.
