Job summary

The Whit in New Orleans is seeking a Guest Service Porter to join our opening team. You will welcome guests, manage luggage, and support multiple hotel operations to ensure a seamless luxury experience.

You’ll contribute to guest arrivals and departures, assist with requests, and help maintain clean, beautifully presented spaces, both front-of-house and behind the scenes. A passion for hospitality and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to stay active and attentive throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with arrival and baggage.
• Coordinate with hotel operations to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Deliver towels, amenities, and other guest requests as needed.
• Support Housekeeping, F&B, Events, and Facilities behind the scenes.
• Maintain a polished, welcoming appearance across public areas.
