Job summary

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and The Lodge & Club, award-winning luxury resorts on Florida's Atlantic coast, seek a Group Sales Manager to grow group revenue, develop new business, and manage client relationships through the sales cycle.

The role requires prospecting for new business, managing assigned accounts, preparing proposals, and collaborating with resort departments to ensure seamless handoffs from sale to service.

Qualifications

• Must have college degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of group sales experience in luxury hotels/resorts.
• Proven ability to prospect for new business and achieve revenue goals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel for client meetings and events.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop, solicit, and secure new group business within assigned markets and segments.
• Manage accounts and build relationships with meeting planners, corporate clients, associations, and other group customers.
• Prospect for new business through outside sales calls, events, and presentations.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and follow up to convert opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and presentations reflecting luxury service standards.
• Negotiate group agreements and close business opportunities.
• Coordinate turnover of contracted groups to services and departments.
• Represent properties at tradeshows and client events.
• Maintain accurate account information and sales pipeline in CRM.
