Job summary

International Cosmetics & Perfumes is seeking a Fragrance Specialist for Balenciaga at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. You will deliver a premium customer experience and execute the sales strategy in a luxury retail setting.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in retail sales, preferably in fragrance or luxury goods, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. You will support events, presell launches and collaborate with store leadership and brand teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of retail sales experience; fragrance, beauty or luxury goods preferred.
• Strong sales experience in the retail/fragrance industry.
• Experience building relationships in a retail environment.
• Excellent verbal & written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, event planning and organizational skills.
• Good technical computer skills and familiarity with reporting tools.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; ability to multi-task.
• Physical ability to move in store and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Champion customer experience and drive the in-store sales strategy.
• Drive store-level sales and support the Balenciaga Sales Team to meet the plan.
• Achieve personal sales goals, support presell launches and events.
• Execute market calendar action plans; assist with launches and events in stores.
• Engage with customers to build brand awareness.
• Support morning and department-wide meetings with management.
• Collaborate with manager and team to drive all aspects of the business.
• Manage event presell, goals and setup.
