Job summary

Carillon Miami Wellness Resort is seeking a friendly Food Runner to help deliver exceptional dining experiences in a luxury setting. You will coordinate food delivery to tables, prepare garnishes, and support servers to ensure on-time service.

The role emphasizes quality, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure. Prior food service experience and bilingual skills are a plus; training is provided by the F&B team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Guest-service oriented, able to work with a variety of people, dependable and responsible.
• Must possess pride in Carillon standards of food service.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with a variety of people.
• Must be a quick learner, follow instructions well, and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of food to tables; prepare garnishes for the expeditor.
• Ensure all food leaving the kitchen meets quality standards.
• Keep hot food hot and cold food cold, with proper garnishes.
• Follow expeditor priorities for food delivery.
• Ensure every food item is accounted for prior to running.
• Assist servers to ensure smooth, timely service.
• Restock china, glass, and silverware; maintain clean work area.
