Job summary

Fisher Island Club is seeking a full-time Food Runner to support our upscale resort's dining team. You will assist servers, stock stations, and ensure prompt, polite service to guests.

Accessible only by ferry or private yacht, our resort offers a luxury experience with benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), paid time off, and meals. Requirements include a High School diploma and at least six months in a dining setting; ability to safely handle food service and assist during events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six months’ work experience in a similar dining environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Assists servers and ensures service stations are stocked for service.
• Ensures plated hot food leaves the kitchen promptly and orders are accurate.
• Carries food trays to tables and supports guests with attentive service.
• Maintains cleanliness of service areas and supports event setups and breakdowns.
• Reports complaints to the manager on duty and supports Banquet/Meeting functions.
