Job summary

Montage International's Pendry brand seeks an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to lead dining operations with passion and a guest‑first mindset. You will supervise service staff, monitor standards on the floor, handle guest feedback, and strive to create WOW moments that surprise and delight guests.

You will manage seating flow, schedule attendants, conduct pre‑meal briefings, and participate in ongoing training so the team continuously improves.

Qualifications

• Progressive food and beverage experience
• Effective supervisory and communication skills
• Well organized with strong problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of policies and procedures
• Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Luxury hotel experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Circulate on the outlet floor to ensure guest satisfaction and service standards
• Handle guest complaints and create WOW moments
• Supervise setup and maintenance of dining areas to meet standards
• Control seating flow and assign opening/closing duties
• Schedule attendants and manage greeters/servers
• Conduct pre-meal briefings and ongoing staff training
• Complete reports and manage requisitions for supplies
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies
