Job summary

The Weekapaug Inn, part of The Ocean House Collections, seeks a Food and Beverage Manager to orchestrate all restaurants, in-room dining, Bathhouse, banquets and pool service, upholding Forbes 5-star standards and outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English both verbally and in writing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a luxury hospitality setting and a five-star environment is preferred.
• Proven ability to train and schedule effectively a large seasonal staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining five-star standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the activities of all food and beverage outlets including in-room dining, Bathhouse, Banquets and Pool services.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and merchandising to maximize profits.
• Provide floor coverage during service and ensure staff follow Forbes and Relais & Châteaux standards.
• Manage staff performance, scheduling, training and daily task delegation.
• Ensure guest experiences are positive and memorable and handle operational challenges as they arise.
