Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Food and Beverage Host/Supervisor for The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center in Roanoke, Virginia. The role leads the F&B operation during shifts, ensures service quality, and supports a luxury hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in luxury hotels or full-service resorts, strong customer service, and the ability to work early shifts. Compensation is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour and equal opportunity employment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant at a luxury hotel or full-service resort.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Micros preferred).
• Ability to make quick decisions under high-stress situations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pleasant and positive personality.
• Well organized.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings and relay information about upcoming events to staff.
• Provide program information to other departments and clients or potential clients.
• Respond to guest needs and requests.
• Ensure standards of food, beverage and service quality meet first-class expectations.
• Implement cost controls for food, beverage and labor.
• Use inventory, receiving and product utilization systems.
• Lead by following productivity standards for food & beverage staff.
• Create a positive atmosphere to encourage loyalty.
• Assist with hiring and training for food and beverage personnel.
• Assist in other Food and Beverage outlets as needed.
• Host stand coverage.
