Job summary

The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, in Roanoke, VA, is seeking energetic banquet servers for a seasonal part-time role through January 9. This world-class property offers opportunities to learn and grow in a luxury hospitality environment.

You will set up banquet spaces, assist with food and beverage service, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. Shift times start around 5:00 AM and end near 3:00 PM, with weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of food service experience, preferably in banquet operations.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet and event spaces with linens, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces.
• Assist with food and beverage service during events.
• Transport and deliver items to event locations and assist servers.
• Monitor tables and provide attentive guest service and promptly address requests.
• Clear and reset tables, break down event spaces, and restore rooms to standards.
• Maintain coffee stations and beverage setups and ensure quality standards.
