Job summary

Mauna Lani is a luxury resort on the Kohala Coast seeking an experienced F&B Operations Leader to supervise day-to-day operations across multiple outlets, banquet events, and room service. You will manage the department’s P&L, budgets, pricing, and cost controls to maximize revenue, while recruiting, training, and mentoring F&B Leaders and staff.

• Progressive management experience in F&B required.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities essential.
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across multiple F&B outlets, banquets, or room service.
• Oversee the department's profit and loss (P&L), monitor operating budgets, manage pricing strategies, and set cost controls to maximize revenue.
• Recruit, train, and mentor F&B Leaders and front-line staff; conduct performance reviews and foster a positive team environment.
• Partner with the Executive Chef to design menus reflecting trends and profitability; ensure compliance with health and alcohol service laws.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, oversee purchasing, and conduct regular inventory audits to minimize waste.
• Develop engagement programs and address escalated customer complaints to drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Train and select staff, follow directions from the Director of F&B, and maintain high standards of service.
