Job summary

Ray-Ban is seeking a Licensed Optician to lead Luxury Retail stores in San Diego, delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring optical quality controls. You will guide clients in choosing frames and lenses, take precise measurements, and maintain luxury standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, optician licensure, and 2+ years in luxury sales, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible hours including evenings/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (required).
• State licensure or certification as an optician.
• 2+ years sales experience in luxury service.
• Knowledge of optical theory and practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain extremely high standards of sales and service.
• Exceed client service and sales standards by delivering an exceptional experience.
• Build and maintain a strong client following through relationship-building.
• Guide customers in selecting frames and lenses to fit lifestyle, RX and budget.
• Record measurements accurately and ensure precise eyewear fitting and adjustments.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets Luxury Retail standards of accuracy.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and fashion trends to drive sales.
• Maintain presentation standards on sales floor and back office.
• Support store policies and procedures; assist with events and mentoring.
