Job summary

El Encanto in Santa Barbara seeks a Catering Events Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute contracted social, catering, tour series, and group events. You will serve as the primary client contact, coordinating with Sales, F&B, Culinary, Finance, hotel operations, and vendors to ensure every event is thoughtfully planned and flawlessly delivered.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, service‑oriented, and commercially minded, able to manage multiple events in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality or large-scale events is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multivisual coordination skills.
• Excellent client service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute contracted social, catering, tour series, and group events from post-contract through execution.
• Coordinate all event details including menus, floorplans, guarantees, vendors, timelines, and billing requirements.
• Maintain professional presence during events and follow up to support client satisfaction and future bookings.
