Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Event Captain to join Constellation Culinary Group at the Norton Museum in West Palm Beach, FL. You will lead event service and supervise front- and back-of-house teams to create exceptional luxury experiences.

Compensation ranges from $32–$36 per hour based on experience. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills and a professional presence, with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead with confidence and support a team during event execution.
• Polished, professional presence with a passion for guest experiences.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support event staff to ensure seamless service.
• Oversee event setup, equipment transport, service areas, inventory and catering gear.
• Maintain organization of storage and event spaces.
• Assist with room setup and décor to meet high standards.
• Provide exceptional client service and address guest needs during events.
