Job summary

Constellation Culinary Group at the Norton Museum in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Event Captain to lead event service and ensure every detail is executed with the highest level of hospitality. You will supervise front- and back-of-house teams while helping create exceptional experiences at a variety of luxury events.

Role requires strong leadership, exemplary guest service, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of professional service standards.
• Ability to lead with confidence, remain composed in a fast-paced environment, and effectively support a team throughout the execution of an event.
• A polished, professional presence and a genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry event equipment up to 25lbs

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting event staff to ensure a seamless and successful service.
• Overseeing event setup, equipment transportation, service areas, inventory, and catering equipment.
• Maintaining organization and presentation of storage and event spaces.
• Assisting with room setup and décor to ensure events are executed to the highest standards.
• Providing exceptional client service and addressing guest and client needs throughout the event.
