Job summary

The Allison Inn & Spa, located in Newberg, OR, seeks an experienced Banquet Manager to lead high-end private events such as meetings, receptions, weddings, and galas. You will coordinate with culinary, service, and sales teams to ensure flawless execution and superior guest experiences.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of F&B management in luxury settings, strong leadership, and knowledge of multi-course service as well as wine and bartending expertise.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of food and beverage management experience in a hotel/resort setting preferred.
• 2+ years of catering and events service experience, with luxury service standards preferred.
• Strong knowledge of multi-course plated service, bartending, and wine service.
• Ability to work all shifts when necessary, including days, mids, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to obtain both a food handlers card and OLCC permit.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire excellence.
• Experience with a POS system is preferred.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of all banquet style and catered functions, ensuring that service protocols, room layout, scheduled timeline, and atmosphere meet the luxury standards of The Allison Inn & Spa.
• Lead banquet team members with effective recruitment, training and development, performance feedback, coaching and mentorship.
• Identify opportunities for department innovation, improvement, and growth; proactively create solutions for challenges.
