Bold Design is a full‑service design and production house in Atlanta seeking a Senior Event Designer to lead creative development for luxury events. You will shape aesthetics, guide discerning clients, and translate concepts into executable plans with a collaborative, production‑driven team.

The role demands an established portfolio, a strong sense of style, and the confidence to own projects from concept through on‑site execution, while balancing design ambition with budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in event design, luxury event production, experiential design, or closely related creative discipline.
• A distinguished portfolio demonstrating original creative direction, refined aesthetics, and successful execution of sophisticated, large-scale or high-investment events.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead the creative and client-facing aspects of complex projects from initial consultation through final execution.
• Strong understanding of event production, design materials, installation processes, and the practical considerations required to deliver ambitious creative concepts.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage sophisticated clients and industry partners.
• Strong commercial awareness, including experience developing proposals, managing design budgets, and identifying opportunities for business growth.
• Established industry relationships and experience generating repeat or referral business are highly valued.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach paired with exceptional organization, attention to detail, and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative vision for high-end events, developing original concepts that reflect each client's objectives, aesthetic preferences, and desired experience.
• Translate inspiration into compelling design presentations, cohesive visual narratives, and detailed creative proposals.
• Demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of spatial design, florals, furnishings, lighting, textiles, color, and materials to create layered, immersive environments.
• Maintain creative integrity throughout the design process, ensuring every element contributes to a cohesive and elevated final experience.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and production goals, contributing to Bold Design's overall revenue growth and profitability.
• Develop accurate, competitive proposals and event budgets that balance creative vision, client expectations, and financial objectives.
• Take ownership of event financial performance, proactively managing design costs, labor, materials, and production expenses to protect profitability.
• Monitor budgets throughout the design and production process, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing solutions without compromising design integrity.
• Identify opportunities to maximize event revenue through thoughtful enhancements, strategic upselling, and expanded client relationships.
• Stay informed of industry trends, competitive positioning, and emerging market opportunities to strengthen Bold Design's offerings and drive business growth.
