Job summary

Saybrook Home is seeking a Design Sales Consultant to blend consultative selling with design expertise, guiding clients from vision to finished space. You will build relationships, translate needs into product and service solutions, and close sales to meet revenue goals.

The role requires in-showroom and in-home consultations, strong product knowledge, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury retail or design industry.
• Proven sales track record by providing exceptional customer service.
• Knowledge of furniture and window treatments.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal sales through full sales process from prospecting to close.
• Meet with clients in-showroom and in-home to assess style, space, and budget; develop design concepts.
• Conduct in-home measurements and turn visits into sales opportunities.
• Track client pipeline and follow up post-delivery to foster long-term relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines, lead times, and pricing to guide clients.
