Exemplar Luxury Group is seeking a Buyer to oversee merchandising strategy and product direction within assigned categories, driving sales, margin, and financial objectives while leading a team of Associate Buyers, Assistant Buyers, and Coordinators.

You will collaborate with Merchandising Planners to develop strategies, negotiate with brand partners, and maximize business opportunities. The role requires travel, strong analytical skills, and a customer-centric approach to assortment planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience.
• 5+ years in a buying office with strong understanding of buying operations and retail strategy.
• Strong financial, analytical, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Assortment Strategy: provide input on category planning and execute strategy throughout the season.
• Market Activities: lead market prep and coordinate buys with brand partners.
• In-Season Management: review daily performance and optimize opportunities and risks.
• Leadership Development: mentor Associate Buyers, Assistant Buyers, and Coordinators.
