Job summary

Exemplar Luxury Group, formerly Saks Global, is seeking an Associate Buyer to support the Buying team with vendor selection, partnership development, and data-driven pricing strategies. You will contribute to inventory productivity and may mentor others in the ECDP program, helping drive sales growth and financial performance.

The role involves managing orders, negotiating with partners, and developing assortment strategies to meet KPIs, while collaborating with Marketing and Store Planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail experience.
• 3+ years of buying office experience with retail strategy.
• Strong communicator with ability to lead meetings and build stakeholder trust.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets/Docs, and PowerPoint.
• Experience applying retail math concepts (markup, margin, OTB, WOS, GMROI).

Responsibilities

• Lead market cycle, manage orders, and collaborate with Brand Partnerships and Buying Lead.
• Oversee checkbook management and support brand strategies for growth.
• Analyze product selection, pricing, and vendor negotiations.
• Manage portfolio, in-season product, markdowns, and RTVs.
• Track receipts and ensure inventory targets are met.
• Develop assortment strategies to meet financial goals and KPIs.
