• Two years’ experience for a luxury or ultra-luxury property.
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Must perform with detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up.
• Knowledge of banquet service and operations; ability to generate sales; maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent oral communication; ability to manage multiple tasks and guest needs.

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and standards.
• Ensure standards are maintained at a superior level daily.
• Prepare daily call reports.
• Maintain contact with ongoing clients and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Know hotel services, function spaces, and room names; coordinate with staff for group setups.
• Create and maintain group resumes and schedules; conduct weekly resume and pre-convention meetings; attend BEO meetings.
• Coordinate activities of catering with other departments for excellent guest service.
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports and forecasts; participate in quality control activities.
