Job summary

Kona Village Rosewood on the Big Island is seeking an experienced Concierge to provide exceptional guest service, coordinating special arrangements, and serving as the information hub for hotel services and local experiences.

You will anticipate guest needs, maintain accurate knowledge of hotel features, restaurants, room types, and local activities, and coordinate with vendors to fulfill requests while ensuring high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in a similar capacity for a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel.
• Experience with Opera, KnowCross, and Alice…; foreign language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, hours and services.
• Coordinate guest requests with vendors such as transportation, reservations, and services.
• Obtain department keys and beeper; ensure security of such.
• Assist guests in locating and retrieving lost luggage and handling guest messages.
