Job summary

Monarch Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, CO is seeking a friendly Concierge Attendant to welcome guests, assist with reservations, check-ins/outs, and provide tailored resort information. The role supports multiple departments to ensure a seamless guest experience in a luxury setting.

We offer competitive hourly pay at $20/hour, full-time status, and shifts that vary including weekends and holidays. Ideal candidates will have prior front desk or guest service experience and strong communication

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk, concierge, or guest service experience preferred.
• Commitment to providing personalized service in a luxury resort environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a courteous, patient, and professional approach.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn hotel reservation and guest service systems.
• Ability to handle payments accurately and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and exercise discretion when addressing guest concerns.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform essential guest service duties, including working at a computer, communicating with guests, and moving between the concierge and front desk areas, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service at the concierge area and hotel front desk.
• Perform hotel check-ins and check-outs, maintaining accurate guest information and following established front desk procedures.
• Assist guests with reservation inquiries, changes, and special requests.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently in accordance with resort procedures.
• Provide information about resort amenities, dining, spa services, entertainment, and available guest services.
• Assist with recommendations and reservations, coordinating with the appropriate departments to accommodate guest preferences.
• Accurately communicate guest requests to Housekeeping, Engineering, Bell/Valet, Security, VIP Services, and other departments, following up to ensure completion.
• Respond to guest questions and concerns with professionalism and discretion, referring unresolved matters to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming concierge and front desk area.
• Document guest preferences, requests, and outstanding concerns to support consistent service and effective shift handoffs.
• Protect guest confidentiality and follow resort policies for handling guest information and transactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
