Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk is seeking a Buffet Host / Cashier to greet guests, seat them, and manage dining room flow in a fast-paced buffet environment. The role also processes guest transactions and supports service staff while maintaining a welcoming, professional demeanor.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, dependable, and guest-focused, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. Flexible shifts include days and swing, within a high-volume resort setting.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service, host, cashier, restaurant, buffet, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Prior cash-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Maintain efficient flow of dining room and assist seating.
• Communicate wait times and seating availability clearly.
• Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
• Handle cash, cards, vouchers, and other payments per company policy.
• Keep host stand and cashier area neat and organized.
