Job summary

Davis Development is seeking a Property Manager to own the physical assets and financial performance of a community, delivering exceptional customer service and leadership. You will coach an on-site team, coordinate with leasing to drive occupancy, and ensure operations, safety, and financials are managed effectively.

You will lead meetings, stay informed on market competition, read financial reports, and apply metrics to drive results.

Qualifications

• Three years or more of Property Manager experience preferred.
• Property lease up experience preferred.
• Must have strong leadership and team building skills.
• Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with individuals of varying backgrounds.
• Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Demonstrates a positive “can do” demeanor and results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a high-quality on-site team through effective coaching/training, communication, and leadership to ensure the team fulfills their highest potential.
• Collaborates with the leasing team to ensure social media is used regularly and develops a marketing plan and sales strategies.
• Leads daily/weekly inspirational team meetings to exceed in a competitive market.
• Maintains thorough product knowledge of the community and competition.
• Interacts with residents with the highest level of customer service.
• Ensures all physical aspects of the property are fully operational and safe.
• Inspects grounds, buildings, and apartments regularly.
• Implements all company policies and procedures.
• Reads and understands financial reports and budgets of the community.
• Understands economic occupancy vs vacancy rate and delinquent rent impact on occupancy.
• Uses sound financial knowledge to lease up every community.
• Understands key financial terminology and uses reports to drive needs.
