Job summary

Build People in Miami seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-end commercial interior construction projects across South Florida. You will lead projects from preconstruction through turnover, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and design teams to deliver luxury interiors on time.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a PM with a General Contractor, a solid grasp of construction processes, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor.
• Strong understanding of commercial interiors and luxury renovations.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through turnover.
• Oversee budgets, cost control, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
• Coordinate subcontractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and client representatives.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Monitor progress to meet schedules, budgets, quality, and client expectations.
• Lead project meetings and provide progress reports to clients and management.
• Identify risks and implement proactive solutions.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety, and quality standards.
• Manage pay apps, subcontractor payments, and financial reporting.
