Qualifications

• One year experience in foodservice/hospitality as a bartender preferred.
• Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine; experience at a luxury property preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Superior professional appearance and manner; able to work in a fast-paced team.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; travel to shift requirements.
• Ability to obtain state/local certifications such as food handlers or alcohol training.
• Able to communicate in English with guests and staff.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and maneuver in a restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation method/time, ingredients and presentation.
• Know and abide by state liquor regulations, including prohibitions on service to minors and intoxicated persons.
• Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge guests even during busy times.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Handle guest complaints following procedures to ensure satisfaction.
