Braswell & Son Pawnbrokers is a family-owned luxury pawnbroker with eight stores across Arkansas and Tennessee. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $16–$20, based on experience, plus commissions, productivity pay, and spiffs.

As a full-time team member, you will greet clients, help them find the right pieces, explain pawn loans in plain language, inspect items, and keep transactions accurate with privacy and care. Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Qualificações

• Sales or client service experience. Luxury retail, jewelry, banking, hospitality, and high-end resale backgrounds all fit well.
• A steady work history, ideally two or more years in a recent role. If you have a gap for caregiving, school, or military service, tell us. It counts.
• A love of learning. You want to build your skills and your career.
• Warmth and honesty. Clients trust you with things that matter to them.
• A polished, professional presence.

We are not a typical pawn shop.

Braswell & Son has been a family-owned luxury pawnbroker since 1979. We started as one jewelry store in Little Rock. Today we have eight stores across Arkansas and Tennessee. We sell fine jewelry, luxury watches, and designer handbags, and we lend on them.

What makes us different is this: a client buying a diamond ring and a client pawning a cordless drill get the same high-end experience. They get the same warm welcome, the same respect, and the same expert care.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Jewelry knowledge, like gold testing or diamond grading. If you love jewelry but haven’t worked with it, we’ll teach you.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Dress Code

We dress business professional every day. Our clients expect a luxury experience, and that starts with how we show up. We’re glad to accommodate religious dress, grooming practices, and disability needs.

Requirements

• 18 or older
• Able to pass a background check
• Complete pawn compliance training
• Able to stand for most of a shift and lift up to 50 pounds, with help for larger items. Reasonable accommodations are available.
• Comfortable with computers and a point-of-sale system
• Available to work Mondays - Saturdays until 6:30, while starting at 8:00am.
