Job summary

CELINE is hiring in New York for a luxury retail associate to drive sales and client development at the store level. You will leverage product knowledge to maximize transactions, maintain the client book, and promote events while ensuring top-tier service and adherence to company policies.

Candidates should have 3+ years in retail (preferably luxury), be computer literate, and willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a retail setting, preferably luxury
• Computer literate; learn and use various software packages
• Experience with client books strongly preferred
• Desire to work in a retail setting, with a focus on sales
• Passion for luxury product with an appreciation for design
• Tech Savvy - ability to learn and utilize various software programs
• Service orientation and customer focused
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes, evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Meet individual and store sales targets and consignment goals
• Incorporate product knowledge in the sales process to maximize sales and transaction value
• Adhere to all company policies
• Capture all relevant customer information for entry in database
• Promote store events through email, phone, and personalized notes
• Maintain and expand a client book
• Follow up on shipping, alterations, or other client issues
• Assist in general housekeeping and store image maintenance
• Support shipping and receiving and inventory control as requested
